What We Do Global Partnership for Development
Promoting the Global Partnership for Development Print E-mail

Malaysia is increasingly playing a leading role among middle income countries in supporting the development of Africa, of poorer countries within the OIC, NAM and ASEAN, as well as in sub-regional growth triangles. UNDP thus supports South-South Cooperation efforts in a wider context to include the promotion of good governance, gender, poverty reduction and crisis prevention and recovery.

Public private partnerships form one modality of cooperation. Malaysia's success in meeting the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) will be leveraged in support of new initiatives in countries that have yet to achieve the MDGs, especially in relation to developing their private sectors, promoting trade, and technology transfers, including ICT.
