Background
This project focuses on the rich diversity of the peat swamp forest (PSF) ecosystem. It aims to develop and implement plans and to encourage processes that will ensure its conservation and sustainable use of globally significant genetic species in this ecosystem. This will contribute to the implementation of both the National Biodiversity Action Plan and the National Wetlands Plan. The project sites are: The South East Pahang Peat Swamp Forest, Loagan Bunut National Park (Sarawak) and Klias Peninsular (Sabah).

Development Objective
Develop and implement plans to encourage processes that will ensure conservation and sustainable use of peat swamp forests in Malaysia.
